Remember This House was the last body of work novelist and playwright James Baldwin intended to publish. The book would have been an account of the lives and assassinations of civil rights activists Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King Jr.
Unfortunately Baldwin passed before he was able to complete the novel. Filmmaker Raoul Peck picked up where Baldwin left off in the film I Am Not Your Negro. With commentary included from the late Baldwin, the film will examine race relations in America from the past up until the present day. The film is scheduled to be released on February 3, 2017.
